Try Famous Filipino Hototay Soup
I’ve had hototay soup from both China and the Philippines, but the Filipino version is my favorite. Ever since I had my first taste of it at Amber Restaurant, I have been deeply in love with it.
After a few failed attempts, I tried preparing it at home, and now my family’s favorite soup is this one. With liver, poultry, pork, and veggies, it has a lot of flavor.
Similar in nature, the Chinese recipe lacks liver, which elevates the Filipino version. I’ll also reveal the technique behind the restaurant-quality flavor today. Now let’s go into the specifics!
